Machakos Senator, Johnstone Muthama, is not new to controversies but this time, his wife, Agnes Kavindu, has come out to expose him as a merciless man with a heart of an animal.

Agnes is his first wife but when she was away abroad for work-related issues, he secretly married a second wife who bore him six daughters in a row. He divorced Agnes in 1983 over infidelity issues and continued his life with his second wife but later divorced her too.
The third woman to step in Muthama’s life was a trained teacher who later died after suffering from some long illness. At the time of her death, she was still married to the Senator.
Muthama later decided to cross borders and married an Italian woman who was now his fourth wife. The marriage brought forth a son and a daughter but they later divorced after some years and the Italian re-located to Europe.
The entry of his fifth wife was met with more controversies after Muthama was accused of snatching her from another man. He later divorced her under unclear circumstances.
Currently, it’s not clear who is that special woman in his life but whispers within political circles say that he has been held hostage by city prostitutes and a female politician from Machakos.
