Members of of parliament today turned into fists and fights following a huge disagreement that occurred during the debate on the security bill.
After a chaotic session that made the speaker of the National Assembly suspend the session, the honourable members turned physical against each other in the Public Gallery.
The fight between the opposition and the jubilee members saw Senator Johnstone Muthama and Boni Khalwale attacked.
Muthama came out of the fight with an injured leg and a torn trouser.
Suna East MP Junet Mohamed confirmed to journalists who had been locked out of the chambers that the attack had really occurred.
Junet says Jubilee MPs were infuriated by the presence of Muthama and Khalwale at the parliament buildings during the debate of the security bill.
