Cord leader Raila Odinga decided to do what he never done in a very long time.The veteran politician surprised alcohol drinkers in his home pub in Bondo
locking down a club and having people drink on his bill.
Raila locked down the 'West End Pub' in Bondo and bought people rounds of drinks to their satisfaction as they sang his name.
Everybody in the pub, young, old, thin, fat, dark, light all alike drunk as if there was no tomorrow.
And when sweet Luo music played, the former PM was on the dance floor and all over teaching the so called ‘younger generation’ how they used to wiggle in those days when music was music.
His rare gesture has even earned him a new name in his village as those who enjoyed his goodies say the former PM was their new Sonko in town. It was such an amazing moment for the villagers!
