Budalang’i MP, Ababu Namwamba, on Monday revealed the names of politicians within CORD and Jubilee behind his ouster from the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman’s position.
In a closed door meeting with former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, at his private offices in Upper Hill, Nairobi, Namwamba, who is also ODM Secretary General, revealed to Raila Odinga the names of those behind his ouster.
Namwamba named Defence Principal Secretary, Mutea Iringo, as the chief architect of his ouster because of investigations into how the Interior Ministry spent Sh2.9 billion allocated to the Office of the President.
The MP said he secretly recorded a confession by an MP of how Mutea Iringo bribed PAC members with Sh 1.5 million each to go slow on the Sh 2.9 billion corruption scandal at the Office of the President.
Namwamba also claimed that he has a tape recording of how Iringo bribed Eddick Anyanga (Nyatike, ODM), James Bett (Kesses, URP), Ahmed Ibrahim Abass (Ijara, ODM) and Nakuru Town West, Samuel Arama.
Among other individuals Namwamba mentioned to be behind his woes is city lawyer Ahmednasir Abdulahi and former Judiciary Registrar, Gladys Boss Shollei.
Namwamba spoke a day after the Parliament Powers and Privileges Committee threatened to summon Raila Odinga over corruption allegations.
