Flamboyant and flashy Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has met his match in former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s daughter, Rosemary, as far as philanthropy is concerned. After outshining him in Kajiado’s by election campaigns, Rosemary is now making inroads in Nairobi’s politics with her eyes trained on 2017 (Possibly to replace Rachael Shebesh as Nairobi’s Women Rep.)
Immediately she left Kajiado where she was drumming up support for Memusi, Rosemary headed straight to hospital where she paid the bill of one Mr. Samson Ochieng Jera, who is also the ODM chairman for Kibra branch, totalling to a whopping sh400, 000 without having to scratch herself.
Jera was admitted at the Nairobi Women Hospital after he was attacked at Kisumu Ndogo in Kibra and stabbed by ODM goons who are opposed to the entry of Raila Odinga’s ex-campaign manager, Eliud Owalo, to Kibra politics, but was discharged on Sunday thanks to Rosemary who came to his rescue.
Raila Odinga’s daughter came to Jera’s rescue after everyone else abandoned him and he could not foot for the bill.
Rosemary’s philanthropic gesture can only be equated to those of Mike Sonko who has in many cases rescued people, including paying of hospital bills, with his own money but with the advent of young and lovable Rosemary, his days on the spotlight could be over.
