She was speaking during an interview with the Ghafla bloggers. Victoria revealed just what kind of relationship she had with Larry Madowo.
When asked whether she was dating Larry, she said, "No there wasn’t, Oh My Gosh, Larry and I are just amazing friends! No there was nothing between us. No absolutely not. It was purely professional, it was a friendship based on respecting what the other does and genuinely appreciating how they do it. The chemistry was just built off of, I like working with this person and it comes off naturally and people want to read into this which is expected and you can’t blame them. Because it’s what they see on screen not outside it.
So why did the two ‘break up’ with Victoria being consigned to Lunch Time news and Yvonne Maingey taking her place on Prime Time alongside Larry?
Victoria reveals that since they had new anchors on board, the management decided to change up things. Kind of get them into the whole anchor shift. So they broke up some pairs put others together such as Victoria was paired with Ken, Larry and Maingey. There is no bad blood between the separated pairs, no one is upset and she believes that this move teaches them how to be professional, how to work with others and deliver.
