Among the rumours that have been doing round the media in Kenya and beyond is that Obama will travel to Kogello, Siaya County when he touches down in Kenya, to meet his grandmother, Sarah Obama.
This rumour has excited the Kogelloans since Monday when it first hit the airwaves, with many media outlets confirming Obama will visit Kogello.
However, it has turned out that it was just a rumour from someone who works in Mama Sarah’s homestead that was sold out to the media.
According to Citizen TV online, the American first family has denied that Obama is set to visit Kogello to see his grandmother.
A family spokesman Mr. Said Obama says that this should be treated as a rumour because the Obama family has not revealed anything about the same.
