BREAKING NEWS:BREAK THROUGH AT LAST.....THE ASSASSIN THAT KILLED GEORGE MUCHAI ARRESTED IN LIMURU!!!!
Break through at last as police detectives have something to boast about when it comes to investigating the murder of the late Kabete MP George Muchai.Having received much banter from Kenyans for their sham investigations,police have arrested a suspect believed to be among those who assassinated the late Kabete MP, his two bodyguards and driver.
The suspect, a 40-year old resident of Limuru, was arrested in Kamandura in Limuru by detectives from Nairobi drawn from Flying Squad and CID, who alleged that they have crucial evidence that he was among the assassins who killed Muchai and his aides.
The place where the suspect was arrested is the same spot where the two carjacked women were abandoned and their car used for the killing of Muchai and bodyguards. The car was later recovered at Ndeiya, about four kilometres away.
The detectives are squeezing more information from the suspect that may lead to the arrest of all the other killers and their masters.
The police narrowed down on the suspect relying on preliminary results from the fingerprints found on the vehicle that was used for the attack, and the ballistic results from the spent cartridge recovered from the scene of crime.
He will have it rough really if he turns out to be the one...

An 11-year-old boy is chained up by his family in the eastern coastal province of Zhejiang in China. His family said the boy injured his head when he was one year old and started suffering from mental disorders.
According to family, they had no choice but to restrain him on chains as he had a tendency to attack those around him.
Zili's lives with his physically disabled grandfather and his intellectually handicapped father, who did not want to be named. The boy's mother died of cancer.
The story of He Zili is a shocking example of how mental disorders are dealt with in rural China. Statistics released this year by China's National Center for Mental Health showed that as of the year of 2009, 100 million Chinese suffered from mental health problems with more than 160 million citizens afflicted with serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and paranoid psychosis. Such figures indicate that one in every 13 Chinese in 2009 had a mental health problem.
Back in the 1950s, the reported ratio of Chinese adults suffering from mental illness was just 2.7 per cent, or one in every 37 Chinese citizens. Worldwide, there are four psychiatrists and thirteen nurses for every 100,000 people. In China, the ratio drops to 1.5 psychiatrists and 2.2 nurses per 100,000.

Police in Kitale have launched a manhunt for the suspect in the murder of beauty queen Cecilia Mwangi’s mother at Sango Farm in Saboti Constituency of Trans Nzoia County.
The body of Mrs Sarah Mwangi, 59, was retrieved from her chicken house on Monday evening, bringing to an end a search that began late last week following her mysterious disappearance.
Kitale OCPD Jackson Mwenga said three suspects are in police custody, among them a house help, and are assisting police with investigations.
“We must get to the bottom of this matter to ascertain who has behind this act and what the motive behind it was,” said the police boss in Kitale on Wednesday.

The family of the deceased had treated her disappearance on Thursday as a kidnapping case, but blood stains in her house pointed at a possible murder.
The long search came to an end after the smell of her decomposing body attracted them to the chicken house where they found the body covered in chicken feed.
“The mutilated body also had wire strangle marks on the neck meaning she might have been strangled,” said Mr Mwenga.
The former beauty queen, now a prominent anti-jigger campaigner, said she sensed trouble last week when she could not reach her mother on phone. This prompted her to inquire from a local pastor who broke the news of her mother’s disappearance.
“I tried calling her phone on Thursday and Friday and I could not reach her. I later came to learn that she had gone missing,” said Ms Mwangi.

Reports emerging indicate that the late George Muchai's body guards could have been too tired,drunk and asleep that is why when the assassin came for the mp they did not even try to fire back as they were both murdered in cold blood.
Speaking to the media yesterday ,the chairman of the parliamentary security committee and the Tiati member of parliament Asman Kamama blamed the two well trained bodyguards for sleeping on their job.He noted that the only logical explanation as to why they did not fire back is that they were either asleep in the car or too drunk considering the fact that it was around 4am in the morning and Muchai's family had a meeting all night and they were partying.

The former Kabete legislature Late George Muchai was a renowned trade unionist that has been the Deputy secretary general under Atwoli. He was ousted late last year at a COTU meeting in Baringo's Lake Bogoria Spa Resort after he became too noisy. The trade unionist-cum-politician, who was known for vigour and energy, at the union fought back and accused Atwoli of being behind the loss of billions of shillings in the union.
Muchai also exposed Atwoli’s dirty dealings including having 14 accounts in Kenya and abroad, sleeping with Nairobi University girls and going to foreign trips with women using the trade union’s money.
Before he met his death, Muchai had allegedly prepared a dossier that will have exposed senior COTU officials on how they have plundered money in the last 12 years they have been office.
“The dossier will have exposed how money had been plundered in the giant trade union and how COTU has been using University students to pass their personal agendas,” an MP who requested anonymity said on Tuesday at Parliament buildings.
It is not clear whether the assassins were interested with the dossier since they escaped with his briefcase after killing him.

The judge ruled that the prosecution had proved that James Omondi, Wycliffe Simiyu and Paul Otieno killed Mr Were on January 29, 2008.
“Having analysed the evidence and the accused person’s decision not to ask for mercy, I sentence them to death as prescribed in law,” the Judge ruled.
Ms Mary Wamaitha, who was charged alongside the three men, escaped the death sentence after Justice Kimaru set her free saying there is nothing to link her to the former MP’s murder.
Mr Were was killed by gunmen in Woodley Estate, Nairobi shortly after the 2007 general elections.
