Survivors of Thursday’s deadly terror attack recounted what Al Shabaab terrorists told students who they had held hostage explaining why they had to attack Garisa University before killing them in cold blood.
According to those interviewed, the Al Shabaab explained to students that they are paying for the mistakes and arrogance of President Uhuru Kenyatta of refusing to withdraw Kenya Defence Forces from Somalia. Maurine Mayengo, who miraculously survived the attack but overhead all the conversation by Al Shabaab with the hostages, said the militia were talking in Swahili and made it clear to students that Uhuru is to blame for their deaths.
“Tumekuja hapa kuwaua nyinyi na pia sisi tukufe, hatuogopi kukufa (We are here to kill you and die too. We are not afraid of death.) You are dying to pay for the arrogance of your political leader (President Uhuru) who has refused to pull out your military officers from Somalia.
As long as Kenya’s military is in Somalia, it will be paid with its citizens’ blood,” Maurine overheard one of the gunmen telling hostages. Besides, the Al Shabaab revealed that they had warned Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government that they would be coming but the Government didn’t take them seriously. “We have warned your authorities many times over our plans to attack.
We have issued alerts warning over the same but you are today paying for your Government’s refusal to heed to our threats and calls to remove your soldiers in our country,” Mayengo heard another terrorist saying. They told the students that the Garissa attack was just but the beginning because more terror attacks targeting learning institutions are on the way.
“This is the beginning of more attacks that will be targeting learning institutions in Kenya,” the terrorists warned just few minutes before they killed 147 students.

Eight month pregnant Milicent Murugi recalls how the terror attack happened in the University.
Students who survived the attack at Garissa University College have revealed how they played dead for hours to stay alive.
Millicent Murugi from Embu, a second year student who is eight months pregnant, narrated how she smeared herself with blood of her dead colleague and appeared as if she was dead to fool the Al-Shabaab militants.
“I slowly took blood from a dead colleague lying besides me and smeared it all over my head and hands. At this time, only one attacker was in the room as the rest went upstairs. I played dead for 10 hours despite being heavily pregnant,” a tearful Ms Murugi said.
She said the attackers tormented their victims saying; “Your security agents are cowards and cannot save you.”
Then they would shoot them as others watched.
Christian union members were the first one to be killed where they had gathered in a hall to pray. All 22 were killed.
Muslim students were released while non-Muslims were asked to prove they had converted to Islam by reciting Shahada, a proclamation by new converts. Those who failed were shot immediately.
The terrorists isolated Muslims from non-Muslims among the students and males from females. The three-story hostel housed 360 students. Two upper floors housed males.
“When our relatives started calling after learning about the siege, the terrorists picked the calls and told the relatives, “We are killing them now. You should know Garissa is for Muslims only,” Ms Esther Kawira said.

President Uhuru Kenyatta is on the spotlight again after it emerged that the list of shame he submitted to Parliament last week was not the original one the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) handed to him. This was revealed by the EACC Chairman, Mumo Matemu, when he appeared before the Senate’s Justice and Legal Affairs Committee yesterday.
When asked to confirm or deny whether the report submitted to Parliament was the same one the anti-graft body handed over to the President, Matemu was reluctant to say the truth but he had nowhere to hide and ended up spilling the beans saying the report was edited. Matemu noted that the list of shame Uhuru submitted was not the one that the commission gave him and that some names were missing while others had been added.

He thanked the US President for honouring his promise to come to Kenya saying Obama is the best thing that ever happened to her. “I am so happy that my grandson Obama did not lie to me. After telling me he would come to Kenya this year, he has finally confirmed it. I am so glad that he has fulfilled his promise,” she said.

The Kenyan Government has today released the name of the man behind Garissa University College siege where over 70 students have already been killed and 79 injured in an ongoing siege at the university. According to Interior Coordination Cabinet Secretary, Joseph Nkaissery, the man behind the Garissa University terror attack is Mohamed Kuno, a former teacher at a Madrassa in the area and is the leader of a local Al Shabaab cell in Kenya.
The Government also placed a Sh 20 million bounty on the terrorist who is also behind the Lamu and Mpeketoni massacres. Unconfirmed military sources have indicated that more than 200 students of Garissa University are still being held hostage by over 13 gunmen and the death toll could rise even as the Kenya Special forces tries to rescue them.
Meanwhile, the US Government has strongly condemned Al Shabaab’s terror attack today at Garissa University College, which has resulted in the deaths and injuries of many Kenyans. In a statement to the press, US Ambassador to Kenya, Robert Godec, said the US Government remains a committed friend of Kenya and will stand shoulder to shoulder with the Government and the people of Kenya in their effort to end the scourge of terrorism.

Although my boyfriend, (we'll call him M), thinks I taste and smell like daisies and peaches, he's experienced many a lady who was a little funky below the belt (he chalked it up to bad hygiene). He was skeptical that changing my diet would make any difference given that vaginal lubrication isn't exactly liquid. But in altering my diet we were hoping to at least find out.

1. Pineapple Juice
Since what seems like the invention of the juicer, the wonders of pineapple juice have been lauded for their semen-sweetening abilities. And after my first sip I can see why; it's like drinking a glass of sugar water. So sweet is the bright yellow-orange juice I feel like I might instantly go into diabetic shock. And I'm not even diabetic. M, for his part isn't as grossed out at first, but after three days emphatically tells me he can't possibly drink another glass of pineapple juice without hurling.
We had our first tasting while on a southwest road trip. It was a warm summer day, the scenery was beautiful, and I felt inspired to make the drive a little more exciting. So while M was driving, I unzipped his pants and went to work. Maybe it was the wind blowing in our hair or the bubbling sounds of the river next to us, but M came faster than he ever had. Swishing him around my mouth, I realized it actually did taste significantly sweeter. Not coconut crème brûlée sweet, but sweet enough to neutralize any harsh flavors. Gone was the bitter, sour, taste and its place was a neutral lightly sugary taste that was much more palatable than the original. To M's delight, I let out an enthusiastic "mmmmm!" I was surprised and excited; maybe I could start to swallow without gagging!

When we finally got to our destination, M quickly threw me on my back and went to work downstairs. Fortunately for me he had nothing to report. I still tasted and smelled exactly the same. Given how foul pineapple juice is, the last thing I needed was for him to get addicted to my pineapple-infused method regions.
2. Celery
After doing some research, I begin to suspect M has tricked me. Celery is known more for increasing liquid volume not changing flavor. Perhaps he's just looking forward to giving me a larger pearl necklace? According to connoisseur of all things sex-related, Motley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in his book Tommyland asked porn star Peter North how he "sandblasts every single girl in his scenes with a gallon of man juice." To which North told him to eat a bunch of celery the day before.
When I confront him, M insists he was not trying to fool me and that he really heard celery makes semen taste good. So we proceed as planned. Perhaps the celery would even produce the elusive female jizz. In case you're wondering, a bunch of celery is a lot. At 6'3, M can eat all day long and had no problem incorporating the celery into his diet (though by day three even he's sick of it). At 5'1, I have the metabolism and appetite of a small bird. Eating that much celery causes me to eliminate things I actually enjoy eating. For example, instead of my normal scrambled eggs for breakfast I am now eating celery with peanut butter. Snack time, I skip mixed nuts for celery with ranch.

The woman has finally told her story, two years after the attack, in a bid to track down her husband so he can face justice. "I wanted to press charges but he fled and has not been seen since the incident. I am scared that he might come back anytime and remove my head,"

Sources intimated that the Kisumu Airport’s runway may be too small for Air Force One and that Obama cannot risk flying in another plane to Nyanza, including that of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The residents had anticipated Obama to fly directly to Kisumu and have now challenged Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government to expand the airport before July for them to actualize their dream.
Obama’s itinerary is not yet out and it now remains to be seen how things will turn out.
