President Uhuru Kenyatta’s wife, Margret was caught on the wrong side of the law, she has became the first high ranking official in the Jubilee Government to fall victim to the new traffic laws imposed by Interior Cabinet Secretary, Joseph Nkaisery.
This is after police impounded her personal car for bearing an unprescribed and unauthorized number plate.
Margret Kenyatta’s vehicle was impounded yesterday for flouting traffic rules and was commandeered to the traffic headquarters in Ruaraka.
Uhuru’s wife was not however in the vehicle by the time it was grounded and only the driver was in it.
However, the vehicle was released shortly after State House issued orders that the car be released without any further delay.
“It was released a few minutes later following advice from State House,” said an officer from Ruaraka who did not wish to be named for fear of reprisal.
Nkaisery directed the Acting Inspector of Police, Samuel Arachi, to direct his officers to impound and ground any vehicle with unauthorized sirens, strobe lights and number plates except for the President, his Deputy, ambulance, fire engines and police.

Kenya's top gospel artist Gloria Muliro has revealed to Kenyans how her husband put her through hell.Even though she hasn't been married for long,the talented super star says she would no longer hide her sadness just to keep the reputation of his rogue husband who is also a pastor.
“Let me say that my first shock was on our wedding night. After the wedding ceremony was over and we were left at PCEA Guest House where we were to spend the night, I went to the bathroom to shower only to come back and find Eric opening the gift envelopes, removing the cash and throwing the envelopes in the bin then stashing the money in his pockets.
I was trying to hide it all to protect my husband as a servant of God till I could stand it no more,” she explains.
Hers is a story webbed around claims of marital infidelity and mistrust, abuse and violence. Its tentacles net individuals within Spotlight, the couple’s recording stable, their church Omba Ministries based in Kayole and a chain of small enterprises and alliances. True to form, the protagonists of this betrayal and backstabbing are young girls and women who always referred to the couple as ‘mum and dad’.
“In the first month, cracks had already developed in our marriage as he kept on accusing me of all manner of things and never gave me time to talk. He even wrote down a set of rules that I must follow. In that first month, he sent me over to a friend’s place saying she would teach me how to cook and keep good hygiene only to discover that I was being turned into a house girl. He went back to our house and expressed delight at how he was happy at home without me. In the first year, he packed my clothes and asked to escort me away. He had gotten violent over time and he offered no space for communication and dialogue,” she adds.
A close family friend known as Joe also exposed Eric Omba's extra-marital affairs. “He would bring young girls to the studio in the name of clients but for days they would not record a song as they were not given studio time. You could see that they were there on a different agenda and constantly I would rebuke him, warning him that the girls would soon spoil his name. But this just got me into trouble,” he said.

Kenyans have always wondered what could have caused the sudden death of Makueni senator Mutula Kilonzo.There have been a lot of rumours and speculations about the whole issue and the autopsy results haven't been forthcoming.
It is now 2 years since the country woke up to very disturbing news that Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo was dead.
At first, it sounded like the usual pranks Kenyans are used to drawing on each other but as hours passed by, it was confirmed that indeed Mutula Kilonzo was gone, for good.
Just like the late Fidel Castro Odinga, the celebrated lwyer was found lying dead in his Maanzoni home one morning after he had drove there to spend the night away from the busy capital, Nairobi.
Questions flew into air over what led to Mutula’s sudden demise, with pressure piling on the then young Jubilee government to conduct extensive investigations into what led to his dead.
An autopsy was conducted by the government pathologist on the remains of the late senator. Results were negative.
His family sent samples to England for further toxicological examinations. Two years down the line, fresh allegations have been made by Mutula’s family that the samples were tampered with by unknown people to conceal the truth behind Mutula’s demise.
His son Mutula Kilonzo Junior, who inherited his father as the Makueni Senator, has already recorded a statement with the CID over the same and he believes someone tampered with the samples to conceal the evidence.

2011 was the most difficult year in Size 8’s music career. She was dead broke and on the verge of throwing her music career in the garbage bin. This was after her fall out with Calif record.
Size 8 revealed she had a new song but she had no cash to record it. She contacted Steve Jomino (CEO of Jomino Records) to record the audio to her song. Jomino demanded 10,000 for the audio which Size 8 didn’t have. Jomino then decided to pay half of the cost for her and told her to raise the other half.
Size 8 was completely penniless and couldn’t even afford to raise the other half. Help came in for her inform of Steve Muendo who called her to inquire about rumors that were circulating around she had quit music. She told Muendo she didn’t have any cash to record a song and that was why she was opting out of music.
Steve Muendo surprisingly decided to give her the 5,000 which Size 8 asked him to send to Steve Jomino to record the audio with. “Fire” eventually was recorded and started playing on the radio where it received enormous air play.
Size 8 further disclosed Steve Jomino connected her with SK Blue (founder Sakata Media) who was to shoot the video. SK initially demanded 120,000 for the video but upon hearing Size 8 was a very poor girl from Eastlands, he reduced the price to 70,000.
With zero cash in her pockets, it was Steve Jomino who was her savior again; Steve paid 25,000 for her and asked her to raise the remaining 45,000. Raising the money was like going to the moon for Size 8; she, a mere pauper, had no way to raise the cash.
Upon hearing the song on radio, Fidel Odinga called Kiss FM’s Shaffie Weru to ask for its video. Shaffie then called Size 8 to inquire on the video and she (Size 8) explained why she couldn’t shoot the video. Size 8 was fortunate again as Shaffie connected her with Fidel who was willing to cater for the remaining 45,000 needed to shoot the video.
Fidel sent Size 8 the cash immediately after she contacted her paving the way for the video shoot of “Fire” which surprisingly became a mega hit in the country.
“Fidel had a VERY clean heart, all those people who helped me didn’t have any other intentions,” Size 8 emphasized.
It was from the success of “Fire” that Size 8 raised enough money to cater for all expenses for her next song “Vidonge”.
“I have been built by society that’s why I don’t have pride” Size 8 disclosed.
