Police are trying to piece together any information they get from various quarters just to be able to figure out what killed the son of the former prime minister Raila odinga.And on that front,the CID have swung into action and the officers investigating the mysterious death of Fidel Odinga, on Monday found a cache of firearms and ammunition inside his house in Karen.
The detectives retrieved three automatic guns, a pistol and about 1,900 bullets from his home at the Bel Air Country Homes, Karen.
Police also found two bullet proof jackets and night vision goggles. Police however said Fidel Odinga was a licensed gun holder and he had never misused his gun.
The police took away the firearms and ammo for safe keeping as investigations continued.
Fidel Odinga died on Sunday morning at his home after a night out with friends.
Doctors are yet to establish the cause of his death and the postmortem is underway at the Lee Funeral Home Nairobi.
His friends, who were with him on Saturday evening said Fidel complained of mild stomach pains and he refused to have dinner with them at Sankara Hotel, Westlands.
