Renowned political analyst, Mutahi Ngunyi, has advised President Uhuru Kenyatta to change his leadership style if he wants to be re-elected in 2017. Through social media on Tuesday, Mutahi said Uhuru’s current style of leadership is “dull" and cannot help his re-election in 2017’s Presidential Election.
Mutahi advised the father of the nation to read Niccolò Machiavelli’s writing in the book The Prince (1532), where he said it is "Better to be feared than loved, if you cannot be both." This is what Mutahi Ngunyi said. “Machiavellian thought for Uhuru: Is it better to be LOVED or be FEARED? Craving Love is BAD for kings.

Love controls you. HATE Love. Be BAD,” He asked Uhuru to avoid efforts that are seen to be forcing Kenyans to love him because it is easier to make someone hate you than make him love you. He also said when people fear you, you control them and when they love you they control you.The political analyst urged Uhuru to make Kenyans fear him by making tough decisions that will help Kenyans in future. The Prince is Machiavelli's most famous book because it is a straightforward, blunt book on political science, governance, and military science.
