Ever since gospel songstress, Emmy Kosgey, got married to her Nigerian husband, Apostle Anslem Madubuko, many have been wondering how the youthful singer met the aging Nigerian preacher.
Some claim that Madubuko used juju like most Nigerian men do to woo Emmy but here is how the whole story unfolded.
Madubuko met Emmy during one of his trips abroad. They had been invited to minister at the same event and the talented gospel songstress took to the podium minutes before Madubuko preached.
According to Madubuko, he saw something special in Emmy and the “holy spirit” made an instant connection between them. Although Madubuko was married, they became good friends and communicated on a daily basis.
Months after his “friendship” with Emmy, Madubuko’s wife died under mysterious circumstances. It’s alleged that Madubuko left her sickly wife to die like a dog as he concentrated in his foreign missions.
After his wife’s death, the filthy rich Nigerian preacher started inviting Emmy for shows in his mega church. He could give her a VIP treatment like a queen and at one instance, Emmy landed in Nigeria only to find her bill-boards mounted in the airport and major high-ways.
She was escorted under heavy security and one could confuse her with an international pop singer. Apparently, Madubuko had paid millions just to impress her.
When he proposed to her for marriage several months after his wife’s mysterious death, the “poor” Kalenjin gospel singer was confused and drunk in love. She settled for Madubuko despite their huge age difference and as they say, the rest is history.
