Yesterday proved a rather trouble someday for some very popular guys here in Kenya.Robert Alai seemingly isn’t the only one who ran into arrest troubles .
Ken Wa Maria is yet another celebrity who rubbed the wrong people thus landing himself in jail. The hit maker of the “Fundamentals” tune was arrested yesterday for taking part in a demonstration opposing Dr. Alfred Mutua, the Machakos Governor.
Together with several others, they led a protest caravan that started at Athi River and was headed to Machakos town. They were met by police who took them into custody as they were on their way. They protested against the governor’s fund misappropriations.
The caravan named “Okoa County Forum” led to what was the arrest of this celebrity and his counterparts. The Machakos County gave a press release stating that the group comprised of demonstrators that were hired and were causing disturbance to the peaceful public.
